The members of Music Pilgrim Trio bring diverse musical perspectives to collaborate and combine a wealth of experience and virtuosity with a fearless improvisational spirit. The three musicians demonstrate their skill and passion for Klezmer, Jazz, Russian, Classical, Latin-American and many other music styles as they blend influences from around the world.
Vladimir Fridman (guitar, vocal) is an accomplished guitarist, composer, arranger and singer, widely known in the musical community of the Greater Washington/Baltimore area. Vladimir showcases his expressive style of guitar playing as well as his rich vocal range to perform solo and with some leading musicians and bands. Vladimir is a winner of the Washington Area Music Awards (Wammies).
Seth Kibel (clarinet, flute, saxophone) is one of the Mid-Atlantic's premier woodwind specialists. Working with some of the best bands in jazz, klezmer, swing and more, and wowing audiences on saxophone, clarinet, and flute, Seth is a winner of multiple Washington Area Music Awards (Wammies), including "Best Jazz Instrumentalist" and "Best World Music Instrumentalist".
Bob Abbott (bass) studied voice and piano and it brings a wide variety of color in his playing. His performance experiences range from jazz trios and classical ensemble to big band. Bob is a freelance bass player, composer, and arranger in the Baltimore/Washington area. Bob is a winner of the Washington Area Music Awards (Wammies).
